ELL6021   TESOL Practice   (15 credits)

Description

This unit aims to provide students with an opportunity to develop practical TESOL skills and to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge of English Language Teaching in the classroom. There is an expectation that student will reflect on their current practices in TESOL, develop their range of classroom procedures and techniques, apply existing knowledge of approaches and methods with real learners and to produce a professional teaching portfolio to evidence their skills in TESOL. Students can gain an optional University of Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) Practical Module provided its external criteria are met.
